Last stop for the day was the infamous Wigwam Motel built in 1950 in Holbrook, AZ. The teepees were interesting to say the least. The shower was so small that even Darrell had to squeeze in sideways!
Our Route 66 adventure is about to begin. We will meet Darrell and Sandy Downey in Tucumcari, NM on Friday, May 14th and then our journey travels west on Route 66.
